verses to little havana
The Miami neighborhood, no longer simply a Cuban enclave, is undergoing a significant generational shift. What once represented old cultural guards (the cuban coffee, the flamboyance, conservative values) are making way for a new set and start to mix somewhere in between.
Younger Central Americans are more prevalent these days. The high-rise construction cranes have started sneaking their way into what is a neighborhood that hasn't seen this kind of development in decades. While things are changing, the forces between the past and present play out consistently with Little Havana's trademark exuberance.
